Men’s team is 6:20:53: Robert Hollister, Mike Smith, Don Faith, Randy Twing, and Tom Phillips, 1989.

We’re the FUGAWII?!? holds the mixed record, 2010, finishing in 7:21: Scott Devore, Ingrid Pederson, Dana Battaglia, John Lofthus, and Steve Harding.

The women’s record is 7:36, also 2010, TUFF LUV: Drea McLarty, Michelle McToldridge, Chrystee Bradley, Kary O’Brien. (Only four women: a drop at 5:15 race-day morning.)

Thanks so much for continuing the tradition. Up to the transmitters from the gun club and down to Refugio Road was dusty and hot but all the nice people from other teams stopped to fill my water bottles . . . seven in all. Thanks to Megan Rheinschild for a cap which I forgot to supply for myself in 85 degree heat.
